VOX POP (Mandarin) unknown guest: \"In the western world when I do couture, like Chanel, you have your own requirements and you get to talk to the designer in what you want. But in China it\'s like you have the clothes and you go to have it cut and improved. It lacks a little personal elements in China\'s couture. \" 13. VOX POP (Mandarin) unknown guest: \"This year\'s show is a step up in class. It is more mature and has more implied meanings than previous collections.\" 14. VOX POP (Mandarin) unknown guest: \"NE TIGER\'s show has always been noble, gorgeous and elegant. And it has many Chinese traditional culture elements, which makes it more meaningful. Zhang heads up NE-TIGER, the fashion house he founded, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year as one of China\'s leading haute couture houses. NE-TIGER\'s design concept is the \"integration of the ancient and modern, the fusion of Chinese and Western,\" and that was on display during Thursday\'s fashion show. 39 outfits were featured during a show harking back to the days of the 11th century Song Dynasty. Vibrant colors, flower themes, detailed embroidery and brocade, as well as a healthy sprinkle of Swarovski crystal, highlighted the show. China Fashion Week runs until the 3rd November.
