'New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and Parsons The New School for Design presented the first annual Fashion Campus NYC, July 15th - 16th, 2011. Fashion Campus NYC is one of six fashion industry-focused initiatives announced in November 2010 by NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg as part of NYC\'s push to help build on its competitive advantages and enhance its status as a global fashion capital. Fashion Campus NYC, which will be held again in 2012, is specifically designed to expose student interns to the variety of business careers available to them within NYC\'s fashion industry.
