'Lil Kim is a Fashion Icon™'

'This video is about how the CFDA needs to stop playing around and give my girl the fashion icon award.   This is my longest video to date so hooray for that! I just really wanted to talk about the legacy that Lil Kim left and why I think that she is a Fashion Icon™. I think that a lot of people tend to forget or downplay the influence she had on fashion in the 90s/early 2000s. Even 20 years later people are still taking inspiration from her style and I\'d like to highlight black women and talk about the accomplishments in the field. In the video I do mention Misa Hylton, Dionne Alexander, and Nija Battle as three amazing black women that helped Kim and the fashion industry become what it is.'
