'I will show you today 3 steps that will help you achieve different skills - when it comes to fashion sketches. First of all, there is the human anatomy for fashion - in my first drawing. You will start with the axes, as always.Do quickly the primary shapes and then the connection between the shapes. This is the first phase of the fashion sketch: the learning of the basic anatomy of the human body. In this stage, it is very important to know the anatomy, the human proportions and also it is very useful to use a soft line because later on you will have to add clothes too. Then, we will get to the second phase of the fashion sketch. With this exercise you will have to reduce your lines, to make them more expressive and to add costume details. Here, the line is very important and also the ability to be creative and to leave your imagination get wild. One of my tips here is to use a dark pencil to have more contrast and strength in line. As about the last step, we will skip all the previous phases, and we will use the imagination of the viewer to fill the blank spaces. On this phase, there is no need to show everything. You will get to this phase after doing a lot of human anatomy exercises, and also line studies. The lines change depending of the light source, as you will see in my next video. The last phase is also very refined, simplified and somehow very close to art. It can be as crazy as possible because this drawing is a way of self-expression. This drawing will reveal your inner you. Try this exercise. And if you want to share it with us, send me an email on [email protected] and i will reply. If you like my video, please share + subscribe. THANK YOU! IOANA '
