'Monte-Carlo Fashion Week MCFW 2016 Highlights - Fashion Channel In the unique and fascinating cornice of the Principality of Monaco the 4th edition of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) took place in collaboration with the Government, the Monaco City Hall and the Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority, which had great success thanks to the numerous exciting events organized within its frame. June 2, the opening day, was dedicated to the Round Table with the participation of such international buyers as the Vice President of the National Chamber for Italian Fashion, the buyers Claudio Betti, Mathilde de Sainth Athost, Nieman Marcus Paris, Song Pham Hong Kong and Irina Goudkova, President of IFD and the Ambassadress of the Monaco Fashion Council. A special showroom was set up dedicated to the brands intending to present their collections to the buyers, where the jewelry brands were present, such as IG & Mello, accessory brands such as JF London, Nando Muzi, Deglupta, Tadini Monte-Carlo and the bijoux limited edition, Abibù Bigiù The culminating event of June 3 was the MCFW Awards Ceremony to the important figures in fashion and costume: the Award to Philipp Plein, the most trasgressive and successful designer at the moment, given to him by the Princess of Monaco Charlene, gave to the public moments of great emotion end enthusiasm. Philipp Plein owes part of his success to Monte Carlo, the city in which his first boutique in the world was opened and which has always hosted the important communication events of his brand.
