This mood spilt over into the show soundtrack, where true originals such as Ian Dury, The Kinks and Jimi Hendrix lent their sense of unconventional creativity to the occasion. With over 20 tracks crammed into just over 8 minutes of continuous music, the soundtrack was a blend of styles and genres, echoing variety in the collection on show, which had no fixed silhouette but unifying characteristics, such as the use of tailoring.
