'A Degree Fahrenheit SS14 at Japan Fashion Week'

16:41 Nov 14, 2021
'Japanese fashion label A Degree Fahrenheit showed a very conceptual collection for Spring Summer 2014 at Japan Fashion Week. Entitled \'Volatilization\', the runway show opened with a tableau of women covered head to toe in \'burkas\' - the full-body covering of some Muslim women. On parading down the runway, the models left the stage - all but one, who proceeded to whip off her burka to show a slinky bright orange dress beneath. Orange was THE colour of the collection - just about everything, including the models\' eye makeup & lashes - was orange. There were a few menswear looks but the bulk of the story was about women in various looks that ranged from boxy tunics to swimwear and evening gown with the one unifying theme being the colour. Check out the video and let us know what you think ...'
