Recipe Old Fashion Apple Cake 1/4 cup shortening 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg dash of lemon juice 1 1/2 tsp baking powder pinch of salt 1/3 cup milk 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup flour ______________________________________________________ Topping 2 apples sliced thin 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 TB butter 1 tsp cinnamon __________________________________________________ Put in greased round cake pan I used 8\" sprayed pan put all in bowl Mix really well I used mixer then pour into baking dish Then top with apples butter brown sugar cinnamon ________________________________________________________________ BAKE AT 350 FOR 25 MINUTES CHECK YOUR CAKE EVERY OVEN IS DIFFERENT ________________________________________________ Got From The Cookbook from sturbrige Kitchens'
